'East meets west' fashion show at 'HighCross Shopping Centre' the designer 'Arinder Bhullar' who is the leading Asian Fashion designer in the UK! This fashion show was a 2 day event and Poonam was invited as MIUK 2009 for the opening of the fashion show!!

Miss India Worldwide experience

After winning Miss India UK 2009 Poonam flew out to South Africa, Durban for the Miss India Worldwide 2009 competition. There were 25 girls from 25 different countries all with one dream- To be Miss India Worldwide 2009!

The finals Night:

The finals were at Durban Sun Coast Casino- The finals were split into 4 segments; Western wear, Eastern wear , Talent and Q's & A's.

Although Poonam didn't make the top 10 we was extremely proud of her to have even got to the Miss India Worldwide stage where she had the opportunity to showcase her talents. Take a look at the video from the finals and some pictures from the final night below:
